A New Face in External Affairs
In October, Deirdre Reznik joined the Office of External Affairs as the new Publications Coordinator. Reznik comes to Teachers College after several years working with print and online media, most recently at Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, a national, non-profit legal organization that works for the civil rights of lesbians, gay men and people with HIV and AIDS.

For the second year in a row, Teachers College set aside a Saturday in November to celebrate Founders Day-an academic homecoming at which alumni, students, and staff members gathered at the College to hear renowned speakers and get a sense of what is happening at Teachers College today.

More than 100 alumni, their guests, and other members of the TC community gathered at The Columbia-Princeton Club for a dinner honoring three distinguished alumni. This year's honorees were Margaret Mary Fitzpatrick (M.Ed. 1982, Ed.D. 1986); Joseph L. Dionne (Ed.D. 1965); and, Barbara Loomis Jackson (M.A. 1967).
